Integration Specialist - Third Party Integrations

As an Integration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in working closely with our members to understand their business needs and requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement robust integration flows, utilizing APIs across platforms that seamlessly integrate with NISC's utility solutions, including , Work Management, and MDM. All applicants must have a strong member focus, enjoy learning in a fast-paced environment, and be able to manage a high volume of short-term projects. Essential Duties:
- Collaborate with members to analyze and understand their business needs, ensuring a clear understanding of integration requirements.
- Design and implement integration flows that connect various utility solutions, utilizing REST and SOAP API languages.
- Work with MultiSpeak APIs, primarily using SOAP/XML, to ensure effective communication and data exchange between different systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for integration processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility for both internal teams and members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired Experience:
- 2+ years of experience implementing or supporting systems integrations in the utility or energy Proven experience as an Integration Specialist, with a focus on utility ERP solutions.
- Proficient in API languages, including REST and SOAP.
- Experience working with MultiSpeak APIs using SOAP/XML for integration purposes.
- Moderate understanding of utility solutions such as Accounting, AMI, Billing, GIS, MDM, Outage Management, Staking, and Work Management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with members and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Education Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
