Parts Inside Sales
Reports to: Parts Operations Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Our company has grown to six offices and over 500 employees throughout Texas, with headquarters in Irving, next to DFW airport. We are proud members of ASA, ASHRAE, BOMA, CEF, TEXO & USGBC. We represent over 60 manufacturers, offering innovative systems with flexibility of equipment and solutions to best match each application. We work with industry professionals and end users from the conceptual stage of projects to provide energy efficient, valued solutions to their complex problems

The Opportunity
We are a rapidly growing manufacturer’s representative firm based in Texas specializing in commercial HVAC products. We are currently seeking a Parts Inside Sales Professional to process customer orders, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and can perform in a mostly solo environment. This role requires a self-motivated individual who actively contributes to the team’s success and ensures customer satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
- Supports customers by phone, email, and over the counter.
- Promptly identify HVACR parts and equipment to process quotes & orders.
- Makes customers aware of product promotions.
- Perform warehouse duties. Including shipping, receiving and inventory control and
- Determines best method to resolve customer inquiries regarding products and services.
- Report Inventory discrepancies.
- Provides timely customer follow-up.
- Make deliveries to nearby locations
- Develop and maintain relationships with our customers and business partners.
- Maintains the warehouse by keeping it clean and organized.
- Provides friendly customer service.
- Flexibility to work on-call as required.
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to drive a forklift or be willing to train and become certified.
- Have a forklift certification or be willing to acquire one internally.
The Required Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior Counter Sales experience.
- Clean driving record
- Strong Computer skills.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Other Skills/Abilities
Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Environmental Requirements
Will be required to work in an office environment and possibly, occasionally in the field.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
