HVAC DDC BAS Controls Programmer

HVAC DDC BAS Controls Programmer will work as part of a team which will be responsible for the installation, programming, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of DDC building automation systems. This position requires the ability to communicate clearly with customers, mechanical contractors, mechanical engineers and fellow employees.
Job Duties:
- Creation of Tridium stations, database programming, animated frontend graphics and programming of DDC controllers.
- Must posess knowledge of complex HVAC systems and be able to write software based on a submittal package to make HVAC equipment control to the specifies sequence of operations.
- Must have good computer skills and be familiar with IP networks.
- Checkout, start-up and commissioning on BAS projects.
- Review and correct submittal documentation for new BAS projects.
- Analyze problems and resolve issues to ensure the complete system functions properly.
- Must be familiar with various hand and power tools.
- Performs service repairs, adjustments and calibration on building automation systems.
- Provide technical support and training to technicians as applicable.
Job Requirements:
- 5 years experience programming complex HVAC Building Automation Systems, BACnet, and Niagara Tridium.
- Some flexibility to work overtime/weekends.
- Proficient in reading plans, submittal drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Both written and verbal communication skills a must.
- General understanding of IP networks.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Min. Yrs. Experience: 5 Year programming Tridium Niagara systems with BACnet Controllers.
Education: High School Diploma, Military Service and/or Trade School
Certificates/License Required: Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
Certificates Preferred: Niagara Tridium Niagara 4 and Distech GFX.

Pay: $70K to $110K depending on experience and certificates.

Salary ranges listed are dependent upon a candidate’s qualifications, experience, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the specific role and location.
