Quantitative Researcher, Quantamentals

We are looking for a talented Quantitative Researcher to join our Global Quantamental Group in Yerevan. This team takes a fundamentally-driven approach to research, focusing on uncovering the supply and demand dynamics that drive markets. If you're passionate about exploring complex datasets, developing impactful alphas, and understanding the deep connections between fundamentals and market behavior, this is the opportunity for you.
In this role, you’ll conduct rigorous research using datasets spanning various markets, contributing to a team that values autonomy, innovation, and open collaboration.

Location
Yerevan, Armenia (Hybrid mode with 3 days in-office requirement)

Key Responsibilities

• Building statistical and predictive models
• Conducting a variety of data explorations
• Managing all aspects of the research process, including methodology selection, prototyping, backtesting, and performance monitoring
• Build new and improve existing signals
• Uncovering and exploring market inefficiencies

• BA or MSc degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or similar area
• Math skills: statistics, linear algebra, optimization etc
• Practical Knowledge of Python and Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, etc)
• ML Basics
• Detail-oriented approach
• Written and Verbal English in full-working-proficiency level

• Knowledge of economics, financial markets, and trading principles
• Past experience analyzing market behaviors and trends
• Experience participating in international STEM Olympiads
