Quantitative Analyst, Crypto

We are seeking a Quantitative Analyst to join our team and enhance our capabilities for faster and more efficient data analysis in crypto trading. In this role, you will work on analytical tools designed to maximize efficiency of our portfolio construction. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the profitability of our portfolio.


Location
Yerevan, AM (Hybrid mode with 3 days in-office requirement)


Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Cleaning: Gathering data from different sources such as market feeds, APIs, and internal databases. Cleaning and preprocessing data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Performing exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies in financial data
  • Make analytics for understanding how to optimize existing portfolios
  • Build analytics models, and analytical tools, including real-time visualization tools 
  • Reporting and Presentation: Creating reports, dashboards, presentations. 
  • Develop and automate comprehensible reports for operations and investment needs

Basic Requirements
  • Interest for Trading
  • Computer Science/Math or similar degree 
  • At least 2 years of market experience (finance, trading etc) as an analyst, research or related role
  • Practical knowledge of Data Analytics with Python and SQL
  • Ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn.
  • Clear communication to understand teammates' data needs and effectively convey data-related information
  • Fundamental knowledge of statistics, linear algebra, math analytics and probability 
  • High attention to details
 
Nice To Have Requirements
  • Understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, financial instruments
  • Experience with ETL pipelines
  • Familiarity with Grafana for monitoring and visualization
  • Experience with building and implementing predictive models
  • Previous experience with crypto trading
