Still reading? Great. It’s only been three short paragraphs. And we’d love to hear about you...

The role

As a Midweight Creative within the creative department at That Lot, you’ll be brilliant conceptual thinker and maker helping us make Work That SlapsTM for your favourite UK brands.

This will include:

  • Concepting and developing campaign and banging owned social ideas.
  • Being ultra-reactive to culture, knowing where to sniff out the best bits to react to, hitting the post button before any other brand.
  • Being able to present your work in a clear and engaging way, especially in pitches.
  • Having bags of initiative, tenacity and curiosity.
  • The ability to craft ideas and communicate them effectively.
  • Creator-level abilities that go beyond traditional advertising art direction or design.
  • An instinct for slick, unforgettable decks.

Who we’d love to meet

We’re looking for a tenacious creative with a keen eye for cutting edge social. Snip. Snip. Social first, but not social only. You’ll want to set internet culture alight. You can see an idea through from its embryonic state to a full blown, award-winning campaign that will stop people in their tracks. This is what we call Work That SlapsTM. Oh, Work that SlapsTM is work that’s attention-grabbing, memorable and unexpected – all good slaps are made of this. It’s what we need to do to get our content to stand out on social.

You understand the need for clear, simple thought, and how to articulate ideas in the most compelling and convincing way.

You’ll be fiercely ambitious, energetic, fun to work with and practice radical optimism.

  • Internet culture obsessed
  • A native social user with creator-level capabilities that goes beyond traditional advertising art direction.
  • You might be a writer, you might be an art director – you might be a bit of both.
  • A big idea girlie. You love them.
  • You will be happy to work on your own and with the team.
  • You will have a proven ability to use culture to inspire your ideas
  • Confident in Powerpoint, Adobe Suite etc.
  • A breadth of creative knowledge with the ability to produce useful visual references and predict social and creative trends.
  • A team player who cares about the growth and development of the agency.
