The Role.

We’re looking for an individual who has experience executing paid social campaigns, ideally in an agency environment. You’ll have a passion for numbers AND creative. Yes, at That Lot; even our paid social team are creative. You’ll be working hand in hand with our Paid Media Manager, to consistently deliver the best results for our clients across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and Snapchat.

As a Junior Paid Social Manager, you will primarily be involved in the successful set up of paid ad campaigns, overseeing their performance; and taking responsibility for ongoing optimisations, according to the client’s objectives. A large part of the role will also involve delivering regular reports and acting as the key liaison internally, alongside the client management and creative teams. There will also be opportunity to support with paid campaign planning, strategy development and the pitching of new ideas.

Your responsibilities. 

  • Executing and optimising paid social campaigns across both BAU and campaign activity; utilising different ads manager platforms.
  • Making recommendations during creative development to ensure content fits best practices for paid objectives and platforms.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, quality checking ad set-ups to ensure that campaigns do not overspend (even by a penny!) and all data is tracked.
  • Actioning A/B testing to improve performance, using data to make recommendations across objectives, audiences or formats.
  • Keeping all trackers up to date with performance, budgets, tracking links and client status documents.
  • Analysing performance, deriving learnings that inform future strategy and creative approach. Translating this to creative analytical reports, which include actionable recommendations and clear narrative.
  • Leading weekly reporting along with ad-hoc reporting requests. Supporting on monthly and quarterly reporting, along with presenting results to the client.
  • Work collaboratively across internal teams to ensure content is delivered on time and campaigns deadlines do not overrun.
  • Working with multiple agency partners across PR and Influencer to support activity with paid media.
  • Work with the Paid Media Manager and the strategy team to support paid and content strategy development.
  • Be pro-active in searching for opportunities for the agency and clients with industry developments.
  • Develop relationships with media and social partners.
  • Aware and proactive in updating and informing on issues around compliance and regulation, in line with best practice and ASA/CAP guidelines

Some specific skills you’ll need. 

  • Marketing and/or digital marketing experience in a fast-paced agency or corporate setting, with hands-on paid social media execution.
  • Experience in managing paid social campaigns across multiple social media platforms (including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and Snapchat).
  • Experience optimising towards multiple objectives such as engagement and conversion.
  • Ideally, experience working on paid campaigns with influencers.
  • Experience in creating client facing reporting documents.
  • Client facing experience a positive, if not a must.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
