Regional Outreach Manager

Position Overview
In collaboration with the VP of Business Development, the Regional Outreach Manager (ROM) is responsible for leadership and ongoing implementation of the strategy, training, and supervision of the team of Professional Relations Specialists (PRS) representing The Emily Program in a specific region, while also maintaining some territory coverage responsibilities.
Location:
- The position is remote-based with travel throughout the SE region (NC & GA)
- Strong preference for permanent residence near Durham, North Carolina
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday (8:00 am-5:00 pm)
- Evenings and weekends as required for events and travel
How Regional Outreach Managers Empower Recovery
- Partner with each PRS in the region to develop territory and market specific outreach strategy, based on overarching outreach strategy set by leadership, and continually assess on-going plan outcomes.
- Establish outreach objectives, strategy, and referral targets by territory, in conjunction with VP of Business Development.
- Planning, direction, organization, and day-to-day supervision and coaching of PRS roles to accomplish set objectives.
- Cultivating and utilizing deep understanding of agency wide, region- and site-specific referral patterns via Salesforce data and reports in prioritizing outreach tactic implementation
- Growing referral base and retaining existing referral base team by leading and continually developing the team through motivation, coaching, and skills development.
- Partner with marketing staff on projects related to collateral, messaging, events, and other related activities.
- Maintain assigned territory and conduct outreach work either directly or as outreach event/activity backup for team members, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Role Requirements
- Permanent residence in North Carolina
- Up to 75% travel
- Must possess current, valid U.S Driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in outreach, business development, and/or developing successful sales strategies utilized to drive business, including performance metrics and results.
- Team leadership experience
- Experience in communicating, networking, and establishing strong relationships with executives, mental healthcare providers, dietitians, physicians, hospitalists, and other medical/healthcare providers.
