Sr Financial Analyst

Position Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for performing detailed analytics, business and industry analysis, and making recommendations for improved business performance. The position also includes financial and operational reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

How Sr Financial Analysts Empower Recovery
- Production of Daily/Weekly/Monthly KPI/KFI metrics
- Proactively and creatively obtains data and knowledge needed for modeling and develops, maintains, and improves complex Excel based and/or other system-based financial models
- Development of complex financial models from assessment of industry and proprietary demographic and qualitative information to determine and recommend alternative options for growth planning.
- Provides data analytics in support of leadership decision-making relating to revenue cycle management and financial performance.
- Monitors financial trends to identify opportunities and/or issues and take corrective-actions in partnership with operations where warranted.
- Monitors financial performance versus budgeted revenues and expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility and controls are maintained
- Develops and prepares integrated financial and operational dashboards and financial analysis for senior leadership, providing accurate and timely financial and operational recommendations
- Produces and communicates administrative-level summaries that provide concise information for use in decision-making.
- Supports assigned regions in development of monthly business reviews, planning, analysis, and other financial activities as site and regional leadership’s subject matter expert
- Supports the Company’s annual audit process and other audits/examinations, as necessary
- Leads and assists the FP&A Leader in annual budget planning and creation
- Conduct ad hoc analyses as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum desired requirement of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college, majoring in either Finance, Accounting, Economics or other related major
- CPA designation preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant financial planning and analysis experience
- Demonstrated intermediate-to-advanced MS Excel
- Possess sophisticated financial analytical abilities and business acumen
- Proficiency in presenting business and analytical information to all levels of the organization
- Healthcare, insurance and/or managed care industry experience is preferred
