Nutrition Manager

Position Overview
The Nutrition Manager provides oversight for Nutrition Services for assigned area adherence to the Accanto Health nutrition philosophy, food model and professional standards. The NM demonstrates advanced clinical knowledge and skill, provides clinical and administrative supervision, and sees that nutrition services are executed in the most efficient and effective manner, consistent with the culture, norms and expectations of the organization. The NM is a member of the site leadership team. This position will carry out additional registered dietitian clinical responsibilities to model and consistently assess nutrition processes and protocols.

How Nutrition Managers Empower Recovery
- Ensures delivery of high-quality nutrition services to clients and their families/communities of support for defined service area
- Ensures that all nutrition operations and the care provided are in alignment with the clinical and nutrition models
- Hires, onboards, and provides clinical supervision and development as well as administrative oversight for all direct reports.
- Collaborates with site nutrition and culinary leadership to identify and manage issues and initiatives related to client care
- Upholds Nutrition and Culinary Services policies, external regulatory standards, and payor requirements
- Anchors the Therapeutic Supported Meal coaching efforts for area of responsibility in collaboration with clinical leadership
- Creates and updates meal and snack support schedules
- Attends regularly scheduled meetings as assigned
- Hiring, training, supervision, development, and administrative needs for all direct reports
- Partners with site nutrition leadership to provide consultation, feedback, and training for staff as it relates to Accanto Health food and nutrition philosophy, food and nutrition interventions, and meal and snack support
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Leadership experience preferred
- Eating Disorder Experience- highly preferred
- Commission on Dietetic Registration-Registered Dietitian required
- Licensed Dietitian in the state of employment required, if applicable
- Must have valid driver’s license in the state of employment
