Position Overview
The dishwasher maintains kitchen sanitation and safety by washing dishware and cookware per Accanto Health processes. Maintains the dishwashing area in accordance with nutrition and culinary policies and procedures in addition to regulatory sanitation and safety standards.
Part Time Schedule (20 hours per week/0.5 FTE):
Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10:30 am - 7:00 pm & holidays as assigned
How Dishwashers Empower Recovery
- Washes dishes and maintains overall area cleanliness to meet safety, sanitation and regulatory requirements.
- Sweeps, mops, cleans and sanitizes floors and equipment daily.
- Assists other kitchen staff with proper food and supply dating, labeling and stocking, as requested
- Ensures attendance and punctuality for assigned shifts so that patient care can remain a top priority.
- Maintains appropriate, therapeutic boundaries with clients and their communities of support at all times ensuring adherence to HIPPA regulations for all culinary employees.
Qualifications:
- Dishwashing experience, preferred.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- ServSafe Handler Certification or ability to obtain upon hire, required.
