Campus Receptionist - Peoria

Job Summary
As a Bilingual Receptionist at the ACES, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient front office environment. You will be the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and support. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for supporting individuals with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations:
- Greet and welcome visitors, parents, and students with warmth and professionalism.
- Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
- Language Support:
- Serve as a language bridge between non-English speaking parents, students, and school staff.
- Translate documents, communications, and announcements as needed.
- Facilitate effective communication between English and Spanish speakers.
- Student and Parent Support:
- Assist with student check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate attendance records.
- Provide information and assistance to parents regarding school policies, programs, and events.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to address any language-related concerns.
- Administrative Support:
- Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences for school staff.
- Support the coordination of special events and activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sensitivity and understanding of the unique needs of individuals with special needs.
- Excellent punctuality and attendance.
Pay Range
$18 - $19.50 USD
