Senior UX Designer (Pharma)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior UX designer with experience in pharma advertising, marketing, or marketing communications. You will lead the design of digital experiences for pharma clients, creating intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences across websites, portals, and digital ecosystems. Relevant experience and the ability to quickly decipher marketing assignments for complex clients is required.
Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Partner with Senior Art Directors, Copywriters, Strategists, and Developers to design user-centered digital experiences, make UX and design recommendations, and contribute to digital initiatives for various clients
- Lead UX and web design projects from discovery and concept through launch and optimization
- Translate business objectives, user needs, and content requirements into effective information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final digital experiences
- Present UX rationale, design solutions, research findings, and digital best practices during creative meetings with both internal and external teams
- Advise designers and junior designers on UX methodologies, interaction design principles, accessibility standards, and digital best practices
- Design responsive websites, landing pages, digital tools, and omnichannel experiences while remaining current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving user expectations
- Create and execute digital experiences including websites, microsites, campaign landing pages, digital resource centers, conference experiences, interactive content, and supporting digital marketing assets
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and ensure design consistency across user journeys, content structures, and interface components
- Demonstrate passion for our clients’ business, users, and digital experience excellence
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, including wireframing, prototyping, interface design, and design system development
- Experience creating presentations that communicate UX strategy, user journeys, information architecture, and design recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
- Understand and apply brand goals, user needs, accessibility standards, and market conditions to the work
- Present work to internal teams and clients and clearly articulate design decisions, user experience rationale, and recommendations
- Incorporate ideas and make revisions in response to feedback from supervisors, account teams, clients, user research, and testing insights
- Work collaboratively with creative leads, account teams, project management, strategists, content teams, and developers to deliver digital experiences at a high level
- Be responsible for monitoring and follow-through of work on all assigned projects within established timelines
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5-7 years of related work experience in UX design, digital design, web design, advertising, marketing, or B2B marketing either with a brand, digital agency, or healthcare pharmaceutical agency
- The ability to design skillfully across digital channels, including websites, landing pages, digital platforms, email experiences, online banners, and social media
- Strong UX, interaction design, and problem-solving skills, as demonstrated by your portfolio of work
- Experience developing user flows, site maps, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and responsive web experiences
- The ability to dive into complex science and technologies and translate key ideas and information into intuitive digital experiences that meet user and business objectives
- Understanding of and expertise in pharma design requirements, including claims, references, accessibility considerations, FDA requirements, and client med/reg/legal review processes
- An understanding of agency collaboration, product development, and digital experience workflows
- Ability to present and sell an idea, user experience recommendation, or digital strategy to internal teams and clients
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Workspace tools
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, responsive design principles, analytics-informed design, and current web best practices is strongly preferred

As required by law in this state, the estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000 USD and represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect. We tailor our offers within the range based on organizational needs, internal equity, market data, geographic zone, and the selected candidate’s experience, education, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. At CG Life, it is not common for individuals to be hired at the higher end of the range, and compensation decisions depend on a variety of factors. This position is eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program, subject to the rules governing the plan.
