Position Overview:
We’re looking for a technically savvy Ad Operations Manager to join our NYC based team. This is a hybrid role (2–3 days/week in our Chelsea office) ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and is eager to make an impact as part of a lean team.
This role requires deep familiarity with Google Ad Manager, experience managing both direct and programmatic campaigns, and a strong understanding of the digital ad tech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee trafficking and QA for direct-sold and programmatic advertising campaigns using Google Ad Manager
- Ensure accurate and timely campaign setup, targeting, pacing, and creative implementation
- Use Boostr (or comparable OMS/CRM platform) to manage orders, monitor delivery, and support Sales and Account Management in campaign execution
- Troubleshoot delivery and creative issues, and viewability problems using browser based debugging tools
- Work closely with SSPs and header bidding partners to ensure demand integrations are optimized and functioning correctly
- Enforce ad quality standards and ensure compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) Assist in the evaluation and onboarding of new ad tech solutions and partners
- Create and maintain internal documentation and best practices
Qualifications:
- 3 years of hands-on Ad Operations experience at a publisher or media company
- Advanced knowledge of Google Ad Manager
- Experience with programmatic campaign setup and optimization across PMP, PG and PD deal types
- Strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, including SSPs, DSPs, Prebid, header bidding, and ad exchanges
- Familiarity with Boostr or similar order management systems
- Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and browser developer tools for ad QA
- Excellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to collaborate cross-functionally and juggle multiple priorities in a lean team environment

The pay range for this full-time position is $70,000- $85,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and other factors. The Daily Beast is a globally recognized publication at IAC with our headquarters in New York City.
