
Digital Displays Specialist

Job Summary:
The Digital Displays Specialist creates, programs, and oversees video and graphic asset traffic for all digital and LED displays at Amerant Bank Arena; including the centerhung video board, LED ribbons and vomitory boards, outdoor marquees, concourse and event level displays, and IPTV displays. This role will be responsible for overseeing a streamlined an efficient workflow, ensuring all assets are properly organized, loaded, and scheduled for Florida Panthers Games, Concerts, and Corporate Events. This role will assist in the training of full-time and gameday staff on a network of Ross XPression Tessera, Dashboard, Character Generator (CG), and Kiva systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Specific duties include but are not limited to:

- Oversee the digital displays and content management systems within Amerant Bank Arena; create initial templates/animations, execute workflows, and ensure systems work as intended.
- Program Ross XPression Dashboard for event-specific executions, creating a streamlined process for all forms of audio/visual elements (video playback, LED graphics, audio, and lighting) to be easily controlled via a dashboard setup.
- Assist in creating and supervising a workflow and process for all digital displays at Amerant Bank Arena.
- Create motion graphics for in-arena LED signage, and various other displays at the request of the Corporate Partnerships team.
- Collaborate with the Content Services and Creative teams to ensure all content follows brand guidelines, and the in-game look and feel.
- Maintain an active and organized synced playlist of all sponsored LED signage for in-game LEDs and vomitory sequences, coordinating directly with the corporate partnerships team to review content and quality control for every aspect of playback and timing.
- Maintain an impeccably organized folder structure of transcoded content, ensuring reference files are placed in proper locations and storage is maximized.
- Install and implement external data feeds into Ross XPression DataLinq to add real-time data to various displays within Amerant Bank Arena.
- Monitor, report, troubleshoot, and deploy resources as required to address technical breakdowns within the systems.
- Assist the Content Services and Motion Graphics team as needed.
- Create graphics in response to events-in-progress and develop motion graphics on the fly to capture and deliver content in a timely fashion.
- Contribute new ideas and execute engaging, fan-focused content for all games at Amerant Bank Arena.
- Assist Game Presentation and content leaders with content, staffing requirements, cost estimates, and proper execution of technology.
- Liaise with IT/AV, Corporate Partnerships, Content Services, Graphic Design, Marketing, Hospitality, Event Services, and Hockey Operations to ensure timely execution of all events and content needs, confirming that incoming content meets specifications and is delivered within realistic time frames.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in television, communications, animation, digital media, motion graphics, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in game presentation, production, or live entertainment field (professional, minor league, or collegiate athletics).
- 3+ years of graphic design and animation software experience: Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- 3D design experience is preferred (Cinema 4D, Blender, Element 3D, etc.)
- Proficiency of Ross XPression ecosystem: Tessera, Dashboard, DataLinq, and INcoder is mandatory.
- Ross Kiva Experience is preferred.
- Experience with Stream Deck software and control panels is preferred.
- Knowledge of baseline control room production is required.
- General NHL and hockey knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Experience with asset management is a plus.
- Ability to oversee and instruct freelancers and part-time staff to support production goals.
- Must be willing and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift over 25+ pounds for deliveries, giveaways, costumes etc.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment with all front office departments.
- Strong work ethic and positive demeanor with a desire to build a career in professional sports.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a non-exempt position. Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
