Senior Product Manager, Mobile App

Amerant Bank Arena, Sunrise, FL

Organization Overview:
The Florida Panthers enter their 33rd season in 2026-27 as one of the National Hockey League’s premier franchises. As back-to-back Stanley Cup champions in 2024 and 2025, the Cats have emerged victorious in 11 of their past 12 postseason series and have captured four Eastern Conference championships. The Panthers are led by President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Bill Zito entering his seventh season, and President of Business Operations Michael White who begins his first full season.

As the NHL’s southernmost team, the Panthers operate four facilities in Broward County, Florida: Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise; the Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs; the state-of-the-art Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale; and the renovated War Memorial Auditorium, which hosts concerts and events for the South Florida faithful year-round.

An organization with deep roots in the community, the Panthers are owned by Vincent J. Viola, a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Emphasizing a culture of selfless service both on and off the ice, the Panthers pillar program, “Heroes Among Us,” honors a United States military veteran at every game. The Florida Panthers Foundation focuses on four core pillars: veterans’ affairs; children’s health and education; raising awareness for the endangered Florida Panther; and growing youth hockey throughout the region. The Panthers remain committed to empowering our fans to live sustainably and to strengthen the resiliency of our diverse communities throughout Florida and the tri-county area.

Senior Product Manager, Mobile App

  • Organization: Florida Panthers Hockey Club
  • Department: Digital & Fan Experience
  • Reports To: Director, Experience & Commercial Innovation
  • FLSA Status: Exempt (Salaried)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Location: Amerant Bank Arena, Sunrise, FL — On-Site

About the Role

The Florida Panthers are two-time Stanley Cup Champions — and we're just getting started. Fueled by back-to-back championships and a fanbase growing faster than nearly any franchise in professional hockey, the Panthers are entering a new chapter defined by ambition, innovation, and a deliberate commitment to doing things differently. We are building a world-class sports and entertainment enterprise that sets the standard for how professional sports franchises operate, grow, and connect with their communities for 365-day entertainment experiences.

The Panthers GameDay App is the centerpiece of our digital fan experience — covering ticket access, rewards, game day features, and more. You'll own the day-to-day product execution of the app and work directly with our Director of Experience & Commercial Innovation to bring the next chapter of that roadmap to life.

Responsibilities

Product Requirements & Execution

  • Own the product requirements process end-to-end: lead discovery sessions with cross-functional stakeholders, write clear and detailed PRDs, and get sign-off from relevant teams before work begins
  • Translate the Director's strategic roadmap into quarterly plans, sprint-level priorities, and a well-maintained, globally visible backlog
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for strategic counterparts, providing clear direction and fielding clarifying questions so engineers can execute without interruption

Agile Process & Delivery Cadence

  • Refine and drive discipline around the agile product development rhythm: sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews/demos, and monthly roadmap check-ins
  • Enable delivery predictability and visibility so internal stakeholders always know what's shipping, when, and why
  • Run formal design reviews and ensure that experience flows are mutually agreed upon and documented before engineering begins

Cross-Functional Alignment & Launch

  • Partner with internal teams across ticketing, premium experiences, food & beverage, and operations to align on feature requirements and ensure operational readiness for new capabilities
  • Coordinate go-to-market for new features: work with Marketing, PR, and Guest Services to develop rollout plans, staff enablement materials, and launch playbooks
  • Own the communications layer between product and the broader Panthers organization — roadmap updates, release notes, and stakeholder demos

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of product management experience, with at least some time in a startup or small-team environment where you were building or improving processes
  • Strong consumer mobile app product experience; you've shipped features and understand what good looks like in terms of UX, retention, and engagement
  • Grounding in personalization engines, context-aware UX, and content management systems — how they work and how they come together to create a cohesive digital experience
  • Understanding of agentic AI and where autonomous, intelligent automation creates value across the customer-facing and operational layers of a product
  • Command of agile product development: sprint ceremonies, backlog management, estimation, and dependency tracking
  • Exceptional written communication skills — ability to distill complex requirements into clear, accessible documentation that engineers can execute on and non-technical stakeholders can confidently sign off on
  • Comfortable operating without a playbook; able to identify the right next step in ambiguous situations and create structure where none exists
  • A true team player who builds trust across all levels — senior stakeholders, external partners, and operational teams — and rallies people around a shared plan

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time exempt (salaried) position based on-site at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, FL.  Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
