Our Team

At the heart of TheFork’s Diner eXPerience (DxP) tribe, the Discover team is dedicated to welcoming users and transforming their dining journey into a seamless, memorable experience. Our mission? To inspire and guide diners toward new culinary discoveries tailored to their seasonal context, aspirations, and preferences while eliminating the need for manual searches.

What We Own

Our work touches some of the most visible and high-impact parts of the app:

  • Improving the Homepage by adding new contextualization and user personalization contents
  • Building a more secure authentication flow without adding friction to our users.
  • Turning all our marketing campaigns into amazing dining experiences with dynamic intent-based landing pages
  • Building with your guild internal tools that help teams move faster without adding more process

How We Work

We’re a small but mighty team, spread across France, Italy, and Eastern Europe. You’ll collaborate closely with:

  • A Product Manager, Engineering Manager, and Product Designer who set the vision.
  • Two full-stack engineers and native app specialists (2 iOS / 1 Android) who bring it to life.

It’s a fast-moving, cross-border environment expect lively debates, quick iterations, and a shared obsession with making dining out better.



You Must Meet These Critical Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in Android development, especially Kotlin & Jetpack Compose.
  • Strong knowledge of Clean Architecture / SOLID principles.
  • Experience building and shipping production Android applications.
  • Ability to balance technical excellence with customer impact.
  • Comfortable with testing (unit & integration) and debugging in production.
  • Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and product-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to own a codebase long-term and continuously improve it.

You Can Impress With These Additions

  • Experience with GraphQL APIs, RxJava, or Dagger2
  • Background working with remote or distributed teams.
  • Curiosity for food and dining experiences 🍽️
