What you will do: 

 

As HR Operations Manager, you will report directly to the Senior HR Manager France & Belgium based in Paris, and join the Global HR Operations (Europe) team.

 

You will independently manage the entire employee lifecycle—from the job offer to offboarding—ensuring flawless execution, strict compliance with local labor law, and a seamless employee experience. You will continuously optimize operational processes and oversee payroll.

Payroll & Compliance :

  • Payroll Management (France & Belgium): Supervise, review, and audit all payroll cycle for France and Belgium to ensure accurate and timely payments.

  • Periodic & Exceptional Payroll Campaigns: Manage paid leave splitting, reconciliation, and updates of leave counters (paid leave, RTT, rest days), as well as bonus campaigns, salary reviews, and exceptional bonuses.

  • Legal Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to applicable labor laws by monitoring compensation, leave, and working hours to guarantee local regulatory compliance.

HR Administration 

  • Employee Records & Legal Documentation: Structure employee files and oversee complex HR administration (employment contracts, tailored amendments, visa procedures for foreign employees).

  • Absence & Health Administration: Manage absence tracking, occupational health compliance, and relationships with health insurance and provident fund bodies.

  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Structure and optimize onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions in full compliance with legal obligations.

  • Employee Benefits: Oversee the strategy and administration of employee benefits (meal vouchers, CESU, mobility allowances).

HR Data & Reporting

  • Works Council Support (CSE): Support the setup and day-to-day administration of the CSE as needed, including providing operational/legal support for meetings and collective bargaining negotiations.

  • Workday Power User: Act as the primary contact/expert for our Workday HRIS, maintaining constant data integrity and accuracy.

  • HR Analytics & Reporting: Produce and analyze key HR metrics (headcount, turnover, Gender Equality Index, BDESE) to provide strategic insights to the leadership team.

Employee Support

  • First Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding payroll, leave, benefits, and internal policies, resolving inquiries via our ticketing tool (ServiceNow).

  • Communication: Engage directly with employees via email and our internal channel to address various daily inquiries.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Regional HR Projects: Dedicate time to leading and supporting cross-functional HR projects across the EMEA region, working closely with international peers.

 

Who you are : 

  • Significant, proven track record in HR Operations / Personnel Administration dedicated to the French market.

  • Strong expertise in French labor law, local regulatory frameworks, and HR compliance policies.

  • Hands-on experience with internal payroll management.

  • Proficiency in Workday, SILAE (or equivalent payroll software like ADP), Google Drive, and Notion.

  • Professional fluency in French and advanced level in English.

  • Prior experience in an international environment.
