About the role
Gersh is hiring an Assistant for the Head of Global Communications in our Beverly Hills office. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is passionate about building a career in Communications. Prior experience working on a busy desk in a fast-paced environment is required.
Duties
- Schedule meetings and confirm appointments.
- Monitor press coverage and contribute to editorial development.
- Collaborate internally to maintain social media presence.
- Assist with special events, conferences and other initiatives.
- Maintain internal documents.
- Research and develop opportunities to support the work of the department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of 1 year of prior work experience on a busy desk in communications or public relations.
- Excellent verbal, creative writing, spelling, grammar and interpersonal communication skills.
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Superior time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Able to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up.
- Proficient computer skills (including Microsoft Office applications).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic.
Compensation
$21-$25/hour (DOE) + Full Benefits
