About the role
Gersh is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and structured Project Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with other project leaders, application engineering, IT administrators, and key business stakeholders to support the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects on time and within scope.

This is an ideal role for an ambitious professional with 0 to 3 years of project coordination or tech operations experience looking to advance their career in a rapidly evolving environment with exposure to AI, automation, business intelligence, and technology.


Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

  • Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, document workflows, and define project goals and success criteria.
  • Agile & Sprint Support: Break down project deliverables into actional tasks. Help organize and facilitate daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospective sessions for technical and business teams.
  • Task Management: Create, assign, and track user stories and tasks in project management software.

2. Communication & Documentation

  • Status Reporting: Draft and distribute weekly status updates, risk logs, and dashboard summaries to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Maintain clean, up-to-date project repositories, meeting minutes, decision logs, and project charters in SharePoint.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as an operational liaison between technical development teams, IT, design, and business stakeholders.

3. Risk, Quality & Resource Management

  • Issue Escalation: Proactively identify potential project bottlenecks, dependencies, or scope creep and escalate them to management.
  • Deliverable Review: Ensure project documentation and final outputs meet established quality standards and business goals prior to stakeholder review.
  • Resource & Budget Tracking: Assist with tracking team bandwidth, vendor purchase orders, and project expenses against approved budgets.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience: 0–3 years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, or agency support roles.
  • Data driven thinker with high level of organization, strong multi-tasking capabilities, and keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of AI models and agentic workflows.
  • Proficiency with project tracking and automation tools (e.g. Asana, AirTable).
  • Proficiency with media and diagramming tools to produce training and documentation.
     

Compensation
$21/hour + Full Benefits
