Position Overview

The Urology Group is seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologist to join our team at the IR Center of Greater Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will provide expert diagnostic imaging interpretation and perform a full range of image‑guided interventional procedures that support our growing urology service line. You will collaborate closely with urologists and other specialists to deliver minimally invasive, patient‑focused care in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret a variety of imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine related to urologic and associated conditions.
• Perform interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular access, embolization (including prostate artery embolization for BPH), nephrostomy tube placements, and other minimally invasive, image‑guided therapies.
• Consult with referring urologists and other providers to recommend appropriate imaging strategies and procedural plans.
• Participate in clinical decision‑making, patient education, and clear communication of imaging findings.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, radiation safety, and imaging protocols.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology, with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
• Active Ohio medical license or eligibility for licensure in the state.
• Strong technical proficiency in diagnostic imaging and image‑guided procedures, with interest in urologic applications such as prostate artery embolization.​
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
