Position Summary:
The Associate Director, Executive Insights Hub leads THMA’s strategic research, market analysis, and deliverable production from conception to completion. The Associate Director provides intellectual leadership and analytical direction across projects that range from a few weeks to several months in duration. These projects may include written deliverables, analytic models, presentations, and events. The Associate Director also serves as a subject matter expert, occasionally advising member health systems and industry partners on strategic priorities and The Academy’s executive and sales teammates on product direction and commercial activities.
This position will specifically support our Executive Insights Hub research product, supporting the Academy’s industry-facing deliverables that translate market activity and member insights into high-quality content and strategic analysis. This role requires strong editorial judgement, organizational excellence, and the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into compelling insights.

The candidate is comfortable balancing multiple priorities, exercising sound judgment under ambiguity, and translating complex ideas into clear, compelling insights for industry audiences.
Primary Job Duties:
- Lead the execution of multiple research deliverables, from concept through final production, ensuring timeliness, quality, and consistency
- Build qualitative and quantitative survey instruments; conduct rigorous analysis
- Apply primary and secondary research skills, including hypothesis generation, root cause analysis, and inductive/deductive reasoning
- Synthesize complex ideas into clear, actionable insights for members
- Translate research insights into clear, structured, and compelling deliverables tailored to industry audiences
- Develop and apply knowledge of healthcare organization, operations, finances, and care delivery, aligned with the strategic priorities of health systems and industry partners
- Partner with Director to refine content direction and ensure deliverables align with broader strategic priorities
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external members, contributing to a high-quality member experience
- Where appropriate, present research findings to C-Suite level executives

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a graduate research, business research, consulting, or health policy setting
- Strong project management experience: can plan, organize, and manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously with limited supervision or direction
- Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative skills researching and analyzing healthcare issues; ability to synthesize and summarize large amounts of information and to focus quickly on the essence of an issue
- Presentation skills to clients/stakeholders

Salary Range
$100,000 - $105,000 USD
