We are looking for a talented Commercial Analyst to join our FP&A Team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager (FP&A), you will support our Chief Technology Officer. Your responsibilities will include managing the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, engaging in long-term strategic and financial planning, and providing ongoing insights and analysis on our Technology operations.
About the role:
- Build and manage financial models for P&L and business case assessments.
- Partner with the Revenue Team to ensure alignment and focus on cost management within Technology.
- Develop, analyse, and report on quarterly and annual financial forecasts, including revenue projections, Opex and Capex management.
- Interpret data, analyze business trends, and provide insightful analysis to drive decision-making.
- Identify and drive improvements in business processes, including automation of reports and models.
- Maintain attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence business decision-making.
- Understand the retail value chain and its impact on P&L and value drivers.
What Success Looks like…
- 2-3 years of experience as a commercial analyst or similar in the retail industry.
- CA or CPA qualified or working towards it.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to earn trust and respect from stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong writing and presentation abilities.
- Effective time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
