About the Role..
We’re looking for an experienced HR Coordinator / P&C Administrator who is ready to take the next step into a Junior People & Culture Advisor role. This is a 12-month maximum term contract supporting our Operations client group, with the role initially focused on high-quality administration, process coordination and stakeholder support, alongside a clear and supported pathway into junior ER/advisory work over the contract term.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive and eager to grow. You’ll bring strong administration discipline, confidence managing multiple priorities, and a genuine interest in building your capability in employee relations and advisory support. Working closely with the Senior Advisor and P&C Manager, you’ll gain structured exposure, coaching and hands-on development to help you step into lower-risk advisory work over time.
What’s involved..
-
P&C administration and coordination: Deliver high-quality people administration and end-to-end process coordination, ensuring documentation, follow-up actions and stakeholder communication are completed accurately and on time.
-
Correspondence management: Prepare and manage standard P&C correspondence including flexible work requests, injury-related administration and process letters.
-
Records and reporting: Own cyclical activities such as reporting follow-ups, maintaining accurate employee records and supporting HR systems accuracy.
-
Leader support: Provide support to leaders on policy and process queries, with a focus on consistency, practicality and stakeholder experience.
-
Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline templates, checklists and ways of working to improve efficiency and experience for stakeholders.
-
Junior advisory exposure: Progressively support lower-risk ER/advisory matters under guidance, including triage, investigations support, meeting notes, case file management and stakeholder follow-through.
-
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with the broader P&C team and Centres of Excellence to support operational people outcomes and deliver aligned solutions.
-
Project support: Support the P&C Manager and wider team on people initiatives focused on operational effectiveness, culture, development and continuous improvement.
What you bring to the role..
-
Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR Coordinator / HR Administration role, ideally in a high-volume, process-led environment.
-
Administration discipline: Strong capability in documentation, handling sensitive information appropriately, managing approvals and maintaining accurate records.
-
Organisation and follow-through: Proven ability to prioritise, manage multiple matters at once and drive tasks through to completion.
-
Judgement and curiosity: A sharp, solutions-oriented approach, with the ability to ask the right questions, seek context and apply sound judgement.
-
Growth mindset: A genuine interest in developing into ER/advisory work and building broader P&C capability over time.
-
Proactivity: Comfortable working independently, progressing work without needing to be chased, and taking ownership of outcomes.
-
Continuous improvement mindset: Someone who actively looks for smarter, simpler and more consistent ways of working.
-
Communication: Clear, professional and empathetic written and verbal communication skills.
-
Systems confidence: Confidence using HR systems such as Workday or similar, and working with people data and reporting.
Nice to have..
-
Exposure to ER processes in a support capacity, including investigations administration or case coordination.
-
Experience supporting Operations, fulfilment centre or blue-collar client groups.
-
Relevant qualifications in HR or a related field.
What you’ll love about the role..
- Supportive team: Work alongside experienced P&C leaders who will help build your capability over the contract term.
-
Meaningful exposure: Gain hands-on experience supporting operational people matters in a fast-paced environment.
-
Impactful work: Help improve processes, stakeholder experience and operational people outcomes.
This role will largely be based at THE ICONIC’s Fulfilment Centre in Yennora, Western Sydney. In order to adequately support the client group, the role is office based 4 days per week.
