We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our team. This role supports the daily operations and maintenance of all JPCHC locations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient environments for patients and employees.
Job Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Associate works collaboratively with Facilities Maintenance Technicians, the Facility & Emergency Preparedness Manager, Practice Managers, providers, and staff to maintain the operational integrity of all JPCHC sites. This position involves frequent travel between sites and may require after-hours support in response to urgent facility needs.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, safety-focused, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, functionality, and compliance.
Job Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to:)
- Travel regularly to JPCHC sites to perform maintenance and facility support duties
- Perform routine general maintenance and document completed work orders
- Conduct minor repairs to doors, windows, walls, floors, hardware, fixtures, and equipment
- Assist with patching, painting, and surface repairs as needed
- Install shelving, cabinets, furnishings, and fixtures using appropriate tools
- Assemble, repair, and maintain facility furnishings and equipment
- Maintain lighting systems and ensure all lighting remains in proper working order
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and applicable building codes
- Meet and coordinate with vendors on-site as needed
- Assist Maintenance Technicians with pending work orders
- Maintain property cleanliness and remove debris as necessary
- Promote a culture of teamwork, safety, and professionalism across all sites
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and JPCHC policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure the safety of patients and employees at all times
- Provide after-hours support when major facility issues arise
Qualifications
To perform this role successfully, an individual must demonstrate:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic repair skills
- Knowledge of general maintenance practices and building codes
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to travel frequently between sites
- Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance
