Chief Advancement & Community Impact Officer
UJA-JCC Greenwich
The Chief Advancement & Community Impact Officer (CAO) at UJA-JCC Greenwich will serve on the senior
leadership team in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The CAO candidate will bring broad experience in:
- Strategic Planning
- Community Building
- Change Management
- Impact Measurement
- Volunteer Management
- Professional Management in Jewish and/or non-Jewish community-based organizations.
Essential Functions:
- Strategic Planning and Implementation
- Development, Goal Setting, Impact Measurement, and Capacity Building both within the organization and community
- Board and major donor development and cultivation
- Staff oversight
- Campaign strategy and office process analysis
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CEO and key stakeholders to set and execute strategic vision and annual goals
- Define measurable metrics for success, develop organizational data collection methods, and leverage the data to demonstrate progress and achievement
- Develop strong positive relationships with key stakeholders and other Jewish institutions
- Will provide support for internal capacity building
- Focus on Board governance, fundraising/development, program evaluation, and change management to meet strategic vision
- Program & Staff Oversight
- Oversight of Development, Marketing, along with the Women’s Philanthropy Director and with CEO
- Volunteer development
- Some responsibility for involvement in financial oversight.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- 5 – 8 years of proven experience in nonprofit leadership
- Experience in Jewish community organizations and business development experience is preferred
- Experience in development and fund raising preferred
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Strong professionalism and ability to adapt quickly
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse staff and stakeholders
- Proficiency in accounting, budgeting, strategic planning
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly, Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
- Raiser’s Edge a plus
- Handles confidential information with discretion
- Desire to mentor and develop staff
Salary Range: $105,000 - $120,000
