ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM:
The Knot Worldwide is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Executive Manager Field Iberia to lead and drive the field sales strategy across Spain and Portugal. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing a high-performing team and ensuring the successful execution of sales initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management within multinational or large corporations, with a focus on B2B sales, along with proven leadership and strategic expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, manage, and motivate a sales team across Spain and Portugal, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and business objectives.
- Develop and implement effective B2B sales strategies to drive new business acquisition, customer retention, and upsell opportunities.
- Ensure alignment between sales goals and the company’s strategic objectives.
- Manage and develop remote teams, fostering a culture of continuous development and high performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and service delivery.
- Regularly travel (up to 50% of the month) across Spain and Portugal to engage with clients and teams in the field.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:
- Location: Must be based in Barcelona or Madrid, with the ability to travel frequently within Spain and Portugal.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in people management, specifically leading and developing teams of Team Leaders.
- Sales Management: Proven track record in sales management, particularly within multinational or large corporations, and experience in B2B sales.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead with strategic vision, foster team growth, and manage remote teams effectively.
- Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Customer Lifecycle Management: Strong experience in managing the full customer lifecycle, including new business development, service delivery, renewals, and upsells.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Language Skills: Professional level of English (C1-C2).
