
Manager, Account Management

The Knot Worldwide is looking for a Manager to help lead the Account Management department of the Global Media Solutions team. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong relationship-building skills, experience in customer success, people management, strategic media planning skills, and campaign reporting. The Manager of Account Management (you!) will lead team members within the Account Management department who oversee proposals and campaigns from start to finish.
- Manage multiple team members within the Account Management department by coaching functional excellence as defined in roles and responsibilities
- Onboard new team members and build ongoing training materials for the department as needed
- Lead and prepare weekly team meetings in partnership with other management team members to inform the department of business updates, ad hoc training, and reminders
- Strategize and build go-to-market sales packages and recommend new product offerings related to Global Media Solutions' core revenue category focus
- Avid user and champion in multiple internal order management systems such as JIRA, Google Ad Manager, and Operative One
- Support the Sales team in strategizing product offerings for all prospecting initiatives and inbound requests, as well as participate in any external meetings to provide white glove service to all clients
- Structure and guide internal brainstorms with direct reports and other internal team members to build Advertiser/Agency proposals
- Recommend strategic products and packages for requests for proposals based on Advertiser/Agency timelines and internal deadlines, while also keeping in mind advertiser KPIs and budgets
- Review and approve team members' media plans before being shared with the Advertiser/Agency to ensure all proposals are within company guidelines. This includes some of the following requirements: inventory availability, margin analysis on product and deal level, pricing and discounting thresholds, etc.
- Partner with the Senior Director on internal deal escalations and approvals when proposals do not comply with company guidelines
- Review and approve Standard Insertion Orders, as well as Media Plan submissions within the main order management system to activate campaigns
- Support direct reports and oversee all campaign execution to ensure timely launches, as well as performance KPIs and budgets, are delivered in full
- Coach post-sales team members on all reporting, specifically pacing documentation and client-facing PowerPoint storytelling presentations based on performance benchmarks
- Accompany and advise direct reports on best practices for client-facing kick-off-call presentations and weekly Advertiser/Agency touchbase calls
- Review monthly billing processes and be the liaison between the Account Management team and the Accounting/Billing departments
- Review and approve optimizations or reallocation proposals based on performance trends and provide strategies for upsell opportunities
- Effectively work with cross-functional departments to continually manage process improvements for efficiency and revenue growth opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
- Strong mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- 4 years of experience in the digital media space
- 1 year of experience managing a media planning, account management, or client services team
- Demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems by analyzing large data sets
- Impressive relationship-building skills and comfortable communicating with senior-level executives
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills are required
- Knowledge of Operative, Salesforce, Google Ad Manager, 3rd party Ad Servers, and Tags/Tracking is a plus
WORK MODEL:
This role is Together@TKWW-eligible and based near one of our office hubs. Starting September 15, 2025, you’ll be expected to work in the office two days a week as part of our hybrid work model.
