ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM:
The primary responsibility of the Manager, Regional Account Management is to achieve overall retention and growth targets on their assigned team through successful management and development of a team of Account Managers. The Manager, Regional Account Management ensures that their team and resources are optimized and complies with company and sales campaigns and meets budget and sales goals. The Sales team builds valuable partnerships with local wedding professionals and drives meaningful success to local businesses.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Fully accountable and responsible for team-level performance results of direct reports
  • Coach Account Managers regularly in groups and individually to influence current behaviors and help develop career skills
  • Effectively diagnose Account Managers’ performance gaps and develop targeted coaching plans
  • Analyze data, dynamics, and trends to make recommendations to our local sales leadership team
  • Ensure team has resources to be successful and feels supported by Management
  • Lead difficult conversations by providing critical and actionable feedback to direct reports and with customers in escalated situations where manager assistance is needed.
  • Share “the voice of the vendor” from the Account Management POV supported by data analytics
  • Remain 100% compliant with policies, record-keeping, and reporting requests
  • Other projects/duties as assigned to support the Business and/or Team
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant sales experience in Account Management, Revenue Retention, and/or Revenue Growth
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of people management and leadership experience
  • B2B, SaaS, and SMB specific sales experience preferred
  • Proven customer service and relationship building skills, including the ability to de-escalate sensitive conversations with customers via phone and email
  • Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills
  • High emotional intelligence, discretion and professionalism
  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Salesforce CRM experience

WORK MODEL:

This role is fully remote and not tied to any specific office location. While there are no regular in-office requirements, we encourage our remote team members to gather intentionally for key company and team events to stay connected and engaged.
