Looma is an in-store digital media platform focused on storytelling, education, and recommendations. Their network of in-store screens helps retailers better modernize and monetize their stores, while enabling brands to tell their story directly at the point of decision. All content that airs on Looma’s network is produced or edited by Relay™, their global network of independent filmmakers, editors, and other creators who specialize in point-of-decision content.

Position Summary

We’re looking for a VP of Retail Operations who thrives on precision, scalability, and high-stakes execution. You’ll be the driving force behind our physical asset deployments, ensuring we maintain best-in-class quality while scaling rapidly. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on executor who can seamlessly navigate supplier relationships, large-scale rollouts, and internal team leadership. The VP of Retail Operations will report directly to Looma’s CEO.

Position Scope

The responsibilities for this role can be split into four primary categories, as listed below.

  1. Supplier sourcing & management (40%)
  2. Pilot & rollout project management (30%)
  3. Team management (20%)
  4. Prototyping / R&D (10%)

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with deep experience scaling and/or managing distributed physical deployments and managing third-party vendors for physical operations. We’d love to find someone who also has experience working with retailers and/or large enterprises, relevant IT / network maintenance experience, and/or startup experience. 

Structure & Compensation 

Looma will provide a competitive compensation package consisting of base salary and stock options. All Looma compensation packages include some cash / equity flexibility (i.e. you can opt for more equity and less cash or vice-versa).
