Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - Outpatient Clinic  

Maclean Health is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis in Las Vegas, NV. 

Position Overview: 

As an integral member of our clinical staff, the NP or PA will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary or specialty care services to our diverse patient population. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your clinical skills in a supportive and collaborative environment with a consistent weekday schedule, excluding weekends. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and psychosocial evaluations. 
  • Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans in accordance with established protocols and evidence-based practice. 
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging. 
  • Prescribe medications as appropriate within the scope of practice and state regulations. 
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options. 
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. 
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in our electronic health record (EHR) system. 
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of clinic protocols. 
  • Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. 

Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. 
  • Current and unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA in the state of Nevada. 
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC, AANP) or Physician Assistant (NCCPA). 
  • DEA license (or eligibility to obtain). 
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. 
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
