Human Resources Associate (PT)
ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Associate plays a key supporting role within the People and Culture team, contributing to the smooth operation of HR functions in a dynamic and evolving workplace. This part-time position centers on administrative support, employee service, and the use of HR systems, including data entry and reporting within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). As our team grows and adapts to modern technologies and ways of working, we are looking for someone who brings professionalism, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including document preparation, data entry, and file management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for general employee inquiries, ensuring prompt, professional support or redirecting requests to the proper team member as needed.
- Support onboarding and off-boarding processes, including scheduling, paperwork, and system access.
- Perform data entry and generate reports within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.
- Aid in recruitment efforts by helping in the management of candidate records, communications, and workflows in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Uphold data integrity across all HR platforms, working with attention to detail.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed by the People and Culture team.
- Coordination and support for staff events and training.
- Additional administrative work as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred.
- Familiarity with HRIS and ATS platforms is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Service-oriented with skills and talents in addressing the needs of staff and colleagues. Being responsive to such needs, listening with compassion and openness.
- Able to manage time, prioritize efficiently in quickly changing environment and to meet deadlines.
- Versatility with relevant computer systems, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
