Position Summary:
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (“the Foundation”) is seeking top talent for its Senior Technical Product Manager (Enterprise Systems). Reporting to the Director of Technical Product Management, this position shapes and executes a product vision and roadmap for several enterprise systems in partnership with stakeholders. Leveraging a variety of skills, this role helps with clarifying and understanding the strategy of our People and Financial focused product mixes and will primarily manage the execution and ongoing prioritization of relevant project work. This role also focuses on forging strong partnerships with other internal departments and external suppliers.
This position can be based anywhere in the U.S. and will be expected to work east coast hours (standard business hours are 9:00am – 5:00pmET).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business areas, primarily the Foundation’s People and Finance departments, to gather information about their needs, pain points and priorities and to identify and document business requirements
- Manage cross-functional technology initiatives and requests, including the discovery, planning, and supporting of implementation phases like configuration, testing, training, and change management, given project needs
- Research and evaluate new technologies and industry trends which align with evolving business capabilities and needs in support of our mission
- Develop and manage key documentation, including business cases, charters, strategic product vision proposals, and status reports to align project team members and sponsors
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure that business needs are translated into clear technical scope and requirements, and that deliverables meet quality standards
- Develop and maintain technology product roadmaps pertinent to assigned product areas
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
- Help to define product goals and success metrics and gather data that leads to continuous improvement of the products within this portfolio
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the organization's strategic goals, overseeing proper close-out activities where appropriate
- Share ongoing input and expertise within our Technology Product Management team to continuously mature our practices and deepen our mission impact
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant experience with technical product management, including managing and presenting roadmaps to project stakeholders and senior leaders
- Relevant experience in planning, analyzing, and executing enterprise technology projects successfully with internal and external stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with People and Financial processes and hands-on experience with systems like NetSuite, Coupa, Adaptive Insights, Greenhouse, Lattice, and HRIS is a plus
- Flexibility and ability to lead through ambiguity and quickly adapt to the latest information and evolving business needs
- Able to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently and prioritize effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and innovate with stakeholders across the organization
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify potential issues and find effective solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Curious about and comfortable with learning new technologies
- Prior nonprofit experience a plus
Compensation & Benefits
Individual compensation for this role is dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, skillsets, and applicable laws. In addition to salary, the Foundation offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Salary Range
$120,000 - $140,000 USD
