Business Development Representative
The Business Development Representative (BDR), also referred to internally as a Strategic Alliance Executive, is one of the most critical roles at Millennium. Our end-user clients are at the core of our value proposition, and their experience directly shapes the success of our events and partnerships.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with C-level executives, building relationships across industries, and driving new business in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills and Experience

Experience engaging or selling to C-level executives, ideally within Global 500 organizations (preferred)

Exposure to IT, IT Security, Human Resources, Retail, Marketing, or Supply Chain sectors preferred

Strong ability to analyze markets, identify target accounts, and develop relationships to win new business

Skilled in cold calling, persuasive communication, account management, and customer service

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth sales environment and building long-term client relationships
Responsibilities

Identify and qualify prospective clients and delegates for assigned events

Develop and execute outreach strategies using tele-sales, email, and social selling

Meet and exceed weekly and quarterly sales targets

Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders

Collaborate closely with sponsorship sales, business development, events, travel, and production teams

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with CRM and internal sales tools

Manage client inquiries regarding program details, schedules, and speaking opportunities

Support the organization and execution of a minimum of three Millennium events per year

Partner with the Product team to help shape event agendas and programs
Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from £30,000 to £35,000 per year, depending on experience. Compensation may include base salary plus additional incentive compensation such as commission or bonus, where applicable.
