Client Advocate, Retirement

About the Job

MJ Retirement is seeking a dedicated and detailed-orientated Client Advocate to collaborate closely with Account Managers and Client Executives in delivering high level service to our clients. This role involves precise attention to detail reviewing contracts for policy accuracy and provide day-to-day support customer support.  We are seeking a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills who can accurately address all clients’ needs with effective solutions

Essential Functions Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

  • Collaborate with the Account Manager, Client Executive, and Advisor to service clients
  • Work with Account Management Team to prepare client reporting materials for review by Client Executives.
  • Work with Account Management Team to deliver client reporting materials to clients and other interested parties.
  • Collaborate with the Account Management Team to schedule client meetings, maintain client committee membership updates, and manage the internal client termination process.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of annual compliance documents to clients
  • Assist Client Executives and Account Managers in retention of existing clients
  • Gain working knowledge of functionality of resource tools
  • Assist in maintenance of client management system

Technical Functions

  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated skills: problem-solving, sense of urgency, detail-oriented, excellent organizational and time management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional presentation; experienced with managing direct interaction with several parties including the client, recordkeepers/TPAs, and the internal staff

Required Education

  • 1-2 years work experience in a fast-paced professional services business
