Digital Marketing Coordinator (Email & SMS) Job Summary:
As we continue to grow our beloved brands, we are seeking a creative and data-driven Digital Marketing Coordinator to help us engage our customers. The candidate will be primarily focused on Retention Marketing (Email & SMS), helping build direct marketing campaigns, ensuring our brand is consistent, top-of-mind, and executing on other retention marketing strategies. The ideal candidate has strong experience in using Klaviyo, has a love for marketing, and brings an eye for design and content optimization across digital touchpoints. This role will be key in driving retention, revenue growth, and customer loyalty through effective email and SMS retention marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, build, and deploy high-performing email and SMS campaigns through Klaviyo, ensuring accurate segmentation, personalization, and deliverability.
- Manage automated flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, etc.) to maximize customer lifetime value.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to produce engaging, on-brand creative assets for email and SMS.
- Perform A/B tests on subject lines, messaging, content, and send times to continuously optimize campaign performance.
- Conduct regular performance analysis, generating actionable insights and presenting findings to the marketing leadership team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging tools to ensure ongoing innovation in lifecycle marketing.
- Occasionally assist with light photo, video, and content editing for campaign visuals and creative refreshes.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience using Klaviyo for email and SMS marketing (flows, campaigns, audience segmentation, and analytics).
- Proven experience developing and executing email/SMS marketing strategies that drive engagement, conversions, and retention.
- Knowledge of proper email and sms best practices, how to best maximize email/sms performance and deliverability
- Familiarity with photo and video editing tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or Figma for creating or refining content.
- Strong analytical mindset — able to interpret campaign metrics and apply insights to optimize future performance.
- Working knowledge of Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms preferred.
- An experience in these platforms is a bonus: Northbeam, TripleWhale, Sigma, Omnisend
- Experience with A/B testing and understanding of email deliverability best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail and project management abilities.
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
