Developer

The Role 

We’re looking for a developer who is as comfortable in the ERP as in the code around it. You’ll build and maintain customizations, integrations, and internal applications on top of our Navision-based ERP. You’ll also help automate manual processes across Finance, Logistics, Customer Experience, and Wholesale. We want someone who uses AI tools daily to build faster and better, and who wants to push how we do that further. 

What You’ll Do 

• Develop, customize, and support ERP (Navision / Business Central) objects, extensions, and workflows
• Build and maintain integrations between the ERP and other platforms (EDI, eCommerce, WMS/TMS, carriers, marketplaces, BI tools)
• Design and ship internal applications and automations that remove manual work and give teams self-service tools
• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, then deliver them with the stakeholders involved
• Use AI-assisted development (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate coding, testing, documentation, and debugging, and help set team standards for doing it well
• Troubleshoot production issues, find root causes, and fix them so they don’t recur
• Document solutions and processes so others can support what you build
• Take part in code reviews and testing, and follow release and change management practices 

What You Bring 

Required 

• 2–5 years of development experience with Navision (C/AL), Dynamics 365 Business Central (AL), or a comparable ERP (NetSuite, SAP B1, Dynamics AX, etc.)
• Hands-on experience building applications, integrations, or automated processes, not just configuring them
• Strong SQL skills and a solid grasp of relational data models
• Experience with APIs and integration patterns (REST/SOAP, OData, webhooks, flat-file/SFTP)
• Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders and turn ambiguous requests into working solutions
• Clear written communication and a habit of documenting what you build 

Strongly preferred 

• Current, practical use of AI tools in your development workflow, with real examples of what you’ve built or sped up
• Experience with EDI (X12 / 850, 856, 810) or order-to-cash and supply chain processes
• Scripting or app development in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#
• Familiarity with Power Platform, Azure, or workflow automation tools (e.g., n8n)
• Background in eCommerce, wholesale, or consumer goods 

What Success Looks Like 

• First 90 days: You’re supporting and shipping ERP changes independently and have delivered at least one meaningful improvement to a live process.
• First 6 months: You own one or more integrations or internal applications end to end.
• First year: You’ve measurably reduced manual work for a business team and helped raise how the team uses AI in development.
