SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Director of Product Management for the CRM Ecosystem will help to shape the core product used across various functions of the Museum of Science. The CRM ecosystem will be inclusive of four main pillars: • The people/end users of the tools and services • The process and workflows to support agile and efficient work • The infrastructure components that make up the CRM Ecosystem (ex: platforms, data exchanges, services, and integrations) • The audience that will benefit from experiences supported by this critical piece of our technology infrastructure. The Director of Product Management will work with the marketing, finance, digital, education, development, and other groups to align the strategy and roadmap for the CRM Ecosystem. They will work with core stakeholders across these departments to position the Museum to best use the technology to deeply engage our audience.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and communicates a clear strategic vision for all digital products such as CRM Ecosystem, Websites, Digital Applications, and Games, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and market needs. This involves defining product value propositions and setting the strategic direction to drive growth and user satisfaction.
  • Provides leadership consultation to the cross-divisional product management team in identifying new opportunities, defining product value propositions, and setting the strategic direction to drive growth and user satisfaction. This includes prioritizing initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and strategic objectives.
  • Builds and manages dynamic, data-driven roadmaps and product backlogs for each digital product, prioritizing initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and strategic objectives. Ensures roadmaps are aligned with the overall product strategy and are adaptable to changing market conditions and stakeholder feedback.
  • Acts as the primary liaison between stakeholders (including customers, business units, and executive leadership) and the product management team. Gathers analyzes and translates business needs and customer feedback into actionable product requirements, ensuring stakeholder expectations are met through transparent communication and collaboration.
  • Leads cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance. This involves managing sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to drive progress against the product backlog.
  • Establishes and monitors each digital product's key performance indicators (KPIs), assessing their success against strategic goals and market benchmarks. This includes leveraging data to make informed decisions and continuously iterating on the product offering based on performance analysis, customer feedback, and technological advancements.
  • Guides the design process to ensure products are accessible intuitive and provide a seamless user experience to enhance market competitiveness and user satisfaction.

This position is full-time, hybrid, Monday - Friday

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's of Science or Arts degree
  • 5 or more years of product management, product development, or technology experience.
  • Experience developing large, complex infrastructure/data products
  • Experience managing large-scale, multi-faceted projects
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Experience managing and leading teams and vendors
  • Experience creating and managing project budgets
  • Experience leading with a cross-functional team and managing stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to provide detail-oriented written communication
  • Deep understanding of tools and services that are part of the CRM Ecosystem as defined above
  • A track record of innovating on behalf of customers and developing new products
  • Hands-on experience working with the Salesforce suite of products and services, including core Sales Marketing Cloud

Salary Range

$102,106 - $127,633 USD
