What You’ll Accomplish
Accurately Process Payroll: Ensure bi-weekly payrolls are processed in a timely and accurate manner, meeting our deadlines to transmit payroll two days after the pay period ends.
Monitor Time Recording: Review exempt & non-exempt personnel time utilizing UKG timecards for compliance with company policy, state, and regulatory requirements. Review computed wages and correct errors to ensure the accuracy of employee earnings.
Maintain Payroll Records: Organize and maintain payroll-related records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality in alignment with organizational policies and legal requirements.
Support Financial Reporting: Provide accurate payroll data to the finance team for reporting, budgeting, and audits, ensuring seamless integration with accounting systems.
Administer Pension Plans: Ensure accurate and timely contributions are made to the plan to meet regulatory funding requirements for 403{b), 401(a), and 457 plans.
Resolve Payroll Discrepancies: Address employee inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to payroll, or timekeeping promptly and professionally.
Compliance and Reporting: Provide support on many audits, including payroll, pension, grant, workers comp, and OSHA, ensuring we comply with all regulatory requirements.
Drive Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to enhance payroll processes, implement automation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Communication Skills: Clearly and professionally communicates with employees, management, and external partners regarding payroll matters.
Knowledge of Payroll Systems and Regulations: Proficient in payroll software and has a strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll laws and compliance requirements.
Confidentiality and Integrity: Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and ethical standards when handling sensitive payroll and employee information.

Salary Range
$57,636 - $72,045 USD
