About the role:
As the Vice President of Finance and Treasurer you will oversee the capital raising initiatives, financial health and strategic direction of the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of debt and equity capital markets, financial principles, risk management, and corporate governance. The VP of Finance and Treasurer will work closely with the President/CFO and other senior leaders to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Capital Planning and Fund Raising: Develop and implement capital plans, strategies for raising debt and equity capital. Work closely with the Department of Energy to secure funding under the Loan Program’s Office Title 17 energy financing program.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
- Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow management, investments, and debt financing.
- Private Equity Capital Markets: Develop private equity fundraising strategies, identify target investors, develop management presentations, work with FP&A to develop economic models.
- Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and rating agencies.
- Team Leadership: Build and scale a team of finance professionals, including the Controller, Treasurer, and financial analysts.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- CPA or CFA certification preferred
- 10+ years of experience in a senior finance role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of financial leadership and success
- Deep understanding of financial principles, risk management, and corporate governance

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
The estimated starting salary range for this role is $242,000 - $270,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
