About the role: 

The Senior Digital Engineer role involves leading the development and implementation of digital solutions to enhance The Nuclear Company’s engineering processes. This position requires a deep understanding of digital engineering principles and the ability to apply them to improve efficiency, quality, and innovation. This role will emphasize the importance of human factors engineering to optimize user experience, safety, and overall system performance. This role reports into the Director, Digital Engineering and Technology Solutions.  

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing digital solutions to improve engineering processes. 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment up to and including testing of digital technology in nuclear construction projects. 
  • Leading projects that involve the use of advanced technologies such as AI and digital twins. 
  • Ensuring that digital solutions align with the company's overall strategy and goals 

Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience with installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and testing distributed control systems. 
  • 5-7 years of demonstrated proficiency in digital engineering tools and methodologies. 
  • 5-7 years of demonstrated project management skills related to the development and implementation of digital solutions including demonstrated ability to manage timelines, resources, and cross-functional teams. 
  • 5-7 years of experience in automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices. This involves setting up automated workflows, testing, and deployment processes to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: 

The estimated starting salary range for this role is $150,000 - $173,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis.  The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
