About the role: 

The Nuclear Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Business System Integration to join our team. This critical role will lead the integration of various business systems, ensuring seamless data flow, enhanced operational efficiency, and robust support for our complex operations within the highly regulated nuclear energy environment. 

The Manager, Business System Integration will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of all business system integration initiatives. This includes analyzing existing systems, designing integration solutions, managing implementation projects, and ensuring that integrated systems meet business needs, enhance data integrity, and comply with the stringent regulatory and security requirements of the nuclear energy industry. This role will serve as a key liaison between IT, operations, engineering, finance, and other critical business units.

Responsibilities:

Integration Strategy & Architecture:  

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for integrating disparate business systems (e.g., ERP, EAM, PLM, HRIS, Financial Systems, Regulatory Compliance platforms). 
  • Design robust, scalable, and secure integration architectures that support current and future business needs. 
  • Evaluate new integration technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and data exchange. 

Project Management & Implementation:  

  • Lead and manage end-to-end system integration projects, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. 
  • Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, budgets, and resources, and track project progress. 
  • Coordinate activities with internal teams, external vendors, and consultants. 

Data Integrity & Security:  

  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of data across integrated systems, adhering to strict nuclear industry standards and cybersecurity protocols. 
  • Implement data governance policies and procedures related to system integrations. 
  • Oversee data migration and synchronization processes. 

Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirements:  

  • Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders across all departments (Operations, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Supply Chain) to understand their needs and translate them into technical integration requirements. 
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to define integration scope, objectives, and success criteria. 

System Optimization & Support:  

  • Monitor the performance of integrated systems, identify areas for optimization, and troubleshoot integration issues. 
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for integrated solutions. 
  • Ensure system documentation is comprehensive and up-to-date. 

Regulatory Compliance & Audit Support:  

  • Ensure that all system integrations comply with relevant nuclear industry regulations (e.g., NRC requirements) and internal quality assurance programs. 
  • Support internal and external audits related to integrated systems and data flow. 

Team Leadership (if applicable):  

  • Potentially lead and mentor a small team of integration specialists or analysts, fostering their professional growth and technical capabilities. 

Experience:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 3+ years focused on business system integration, enterprise application integration (EAI), or similar roles. 
  • Proven experience managing complex system integration projects from inception to completion. 
  • Familiarity with various integration patterns, protocols (e.g., APIs, ETL, ESB, SOA), and platforms. 
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry; nuclear energy, aerospace, defense, or pharmaceuticals is highly preferred. 
  • Understanding of data governance, cybersecurity, and information security best practices. 

Skills:  

  • Strong project management skills (PMP certification is a plus). 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams. 
  • Proficiency with relevant integration tools and platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Microsoft Azure Integration Services, SAP PI/PO, Oracle Integration Cloud). 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Strong understanding of business processes across various functions (e.g., finance, supply chain, operations).

Estimated Starting Salary Range: 

The estimated starting salary range for this role is $150,000 - $173,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis.  The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
