Position Overview

The Product Manager is responsible for defining, developing, and delivering product features and capabilities for Nuclear OS, TNC's comprehensive AI-driven digital platform that transforms nuclear construction. This position requires strong product management expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and understanding of nuclear construction workflows to translate user needs into product requirements, prioritize features, and drive the product roadmap. You'll work at the intersection of technology and nuclear infrastructure, ensuring Nuclear OS delivers practical, user-centric solutions that address real-world challenges in nuclear project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and communicate product vision and strategy for Nuclear OS modules aligned with TNC's mission of fleet-scale nuclear deployment
  • Drive the product roadmap for Nuclear OS as a comprehensive AI-driven digital platform
  • Develop product strategy that integrates construction management, supply chain, compliance, and digital twin capabilities
  • Ensure Nuclear OS is a unified digital platform that integrates all aspects of nuclear project development
  • Create product positioning that demonstrates value to stakeholders including construction teams, regulators, and executives
  • Define success metrics and KPIs for product adoption, user satisfaction, and business impact

Requirements Gathering & User Research

  • Conduct user research with nuclear industry professionals to understand workflow requirements
  • Gather stakeholder requirements from construction workers, engineers, procurement teams, compliance officers, and operations personnel
  • Ensure close integration with users who will ultimately use the platform to create practical, user-centric solutions
  • Translate user needs into detailed product requirements and user stories
  • Conduct field visits to construction sites to observe workflows and identify pain points
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to refine feature sets and validate designs

Product Roadmap & Prioritization

  • Develop and maintain product roadmap with clear milestones and deliverables
  • Prioritize features based on user value, business impact, technical feasibility, and regulatory requirements
  • Balance short-term wins with long-term strategic initiatives
  • Manage product backlog with detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities
  • Define MVP scope and incremental feature releases for iterative delivery
  • Coordinate roadmap across multiple Nuclear OS modules (construction management, supply chain, compliance, digital twin)
  • Align roadmap with TNC's fleet deployment timeline and project milestones

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Build relationships with nuclear industry professionals to ensure products meet real-world operational needs
  • Manage partnerships with major technology vendors (e.g., Palantir Technologies) to influence product roadmaps
  • Communicate product updates to executives, engineering teams, and end users
  • Present product vision and roadmap to leadership and board members
  • Coordinate with regulatory stakeholders (NRC) on compliance-related features
  • Manage expectations across diverse stakeholder groups with competing priorities
  • Provide transparency and control to stakeholders for nuclear project delivery

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure intuitive user experiences
  • Partner with data scientists to define AI/ML feature requirements and success criteria
  • Coordinate with quality assurance to define acceptance criteria and testing strategies
  • Engage with cybersecurity teams to ensure security requirements are integrated
  • Work with compliance officers to ensure regulatory requirements are met
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing on product positioning and go-to-market strategies

Product Development & Delivery

  • Lead agile product development processes including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Write detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Participate in daily standups and remove blockers for development teams
  • Review and approve product increments and feature implementations
  • Conduct user acceptance testing with stakeholders
  • Manage product releases including release planning, documentation, and communication
  • Ensure products meet stringent nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements

Product Analytics & Optimization

  • Define and track product metrics including adoption, engagement, and user satisfaction
  • Analyze user behavior to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize features and user flows
  • Gather and analyze user feedback through surveys, interviews, and support tickets
  • Monitor product performance and identify areas for optimization
  • Create data-driven recommendations for product enhancements
  • Report on product KPIs to leadership and stakeholders

Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Research industry trends in construction technology, digital twins, and AI applications
  • Analyze competitive products and identify differentiation opportunities
  • Stay current with nuclear industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Identify emerging technologies that could enhance Nuclear OS capabilities
  • Attend industry conferences and engage with nuclear construction community
  • Monitor customer feedback and market demands

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (MBA or Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in enterprise software or B2B SaaS
  • 3+ years working with complex technical products or platforms
  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, energy, or industrial sectors preferred

Product Management Skills

  • Strong product strategy and roadmap development capabilities
  • Proven ability to gather and prioritize requirements from diverse stakeholders
  • Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Proficiency in product management tools (Jira, Confluence, Aha!, ProductBoard, or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience defining and tracking product metrics and KPIs
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and UX best practices

Technical Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of software development processes and technologies
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applications
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and SaaS architectures
  • Understanding of data integration, APIs, and system architectures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams
  • Familiarity with digital twin, BIM, and construction technology concepts

Domain Knowledge

  • Understanding of construction workflows, project management, and scheduling
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance requirements
  • Awareness of nuclear industry standards and safety protocols (preferred)
  • Understanding of enterprise software adoption and change management

  • Background in construction technology or project management software
  • Experience with AI-powered products or platforms
  • Technical background or engineering degree
  • Experience managing enterprise B2B products with complex stakeholder ecosystems
  • Track record of successful product launches and adoption

Estimated Starting Salary Range
The estimated starting salary range for this role is $126,000 - $182,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
