About the role
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic customer relationships within the commercial nuclear power industry. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, partnering with customers to understand their operational goals and maintenance needs while delivering customized service solutions that support plant reliability, outage success, and long-term asset performance.
Working collaboratively with Sales Engineers, Operations, Project Management, Recruiting, and technical service teams, the Account Manager is responsible for driving customer satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring the successful delivery of TNC Services' maintenance, outage, and workforce solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer accounts, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
- Identify opportunities to expand TNC Services' maintenance, outage, technical, and workforce solutions within existing and prospective accounts.
- Collaborate with customers to understand maintenance strategies, outage schedules, staffing needs, and long-term operational objectives.
- Coordinate with Sales Engineers and technical service managers to develop tailored service solutions and proposals.
- Manage the sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract execution and project closeout.
- Prepare customer presentations, proposals, pricing, and commercial agreements.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting through CRM systems.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively resolve issues to ensure successful project outcomes and long-term partnerships.
- Support contract negotiations while balancing customer expectations and business objectives.
- Partner with Operations and Project Management teams to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication throughout service delivery.
- Represent TNC Services at customer meetings, industry conferences, and networking events.
- Monitor market trends, customer capital projects, and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, integrity, and customer service in all interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
- 5+ years of experience in account management, business development, technical sales, or customer relationship management within the power generation, nuclear, or industrial services industry.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Experience managing multiple customer accounts and commercial opportunities.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and commercial teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including customer visits and industry events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting commercial nuclear power plants or utility customers.
- Familiarity with maintenance services, outage execution, staffing solutions, or field service operations.
- Existing relationships within the commercial nuclear or power generation industry.
- Experience preparing technical proposals, contracts, and service agreements.
- Knowledge of utility procurement processes and outage planning.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.

Estimated Starting Salary Range
The estimated starting salary range for this role is $59,000- $67,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
