Precision Machinist (Wire EDM / Sinker EDM) – Peach Bottom Nuclear Outage
TNC Services, the services division of The Nuclear Company and home to the trusted Powerhouse Resources team, is hiring experienced Precision Machinists with Wire EDM and/or Sinker EDM experience to support the Fall 2026 outage at Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station.
Outage Details
- Outage: October 26 – November 15, 2026
- Travel: Must be available to report approximately one week prior for onboarding and site access
- Pay: Approximately $60/hour (DOE)
- Per Diem: Available for qualifying travelers
- Overtime: Available
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Wire EDM and/or Sinker EDM equipment
- Machine and repair precision components to tight tolerances
- Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
- Inspect completed components using precision measuring equipment
- Complete required quality documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Wire EDM and/or Sinker EDM experience
- Experience machining stainless steel, Inconel, hardened steels, or specialty alloys
- Ability to read blueprints and work to close tolerances
- Power generation or nuclear experience preferred
