Medical Assistant Supervisor Oncology

The Medical Assistant Supervisor will act as a leader for day-to-day supervision and guidance for the team of Medical Assistants. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in multiple clinics, gaining experience and exposure to a wide range of functions. Although the Primary location is in Anaheim, CA, you will work in other surrounding clinics as well.

This position is a great steppingstone for a professional looking to expand their career into clinical leadership.

In addition to the basic front and back office duties, the Medical Assistant Supervisor will also:

  • Monitor Medical Assistant productivity 
  • Provide training to staff and new hires 
  • Audit charting 
  • Assist Clinic Manager with creating protocols 
  • Participate in mandatory staff meetings as needed. 
  • Assist with inventory organization and stocking of exam rooms and labs. 
  • Promote TOI’s culture of exceptional behavioral standards for customer service. 
  • Maintain and protect confidentiality and security of all organizational information gained in the course of performing job responsibilities including but not limited to, financial and client information. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Required Experience: 

  • High school graduate or GED 
  • Medical Assistant Certificate 
  • Supervisor experience
