Front Office Supervisor Outpatient Oncology Bilingual

The ideal candidate is a driven, charismatic, task-oriented, outgoing, logical thinking, multi-tasker who is willing to go the extra mile to make sure our patients are treated with the highest level of care. Must be a fast learner, possess amazing communication skills, and have excellent phone etiquette. Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office is essential.

Major Responsibilities:

 The supervisor will work as a member of the clinic team to provide smooth outpatient flow resulting in optimum patient satisfaction and clinic operation. Major functions include the supervision of staff and serving as a resource to our patients. This position will be based primarily in Los Angeles, California.

Required:

  • Two years of team building skills to include prior supervisory lead experience in a Healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work effectively with patients, physicians and staff in a diplomatic and professional manner in order to maximize suite operations.
  • Working knowledge of EMR systems 
  • Ability to manage patient issues to achieve resolution.  Ability to respond to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction and in setting priorities, which accurately reflect the relative importance of assignments.
  • Ability to accept directions from supervisors and act promptly.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Working knowledge of medical insurance plans and types of coverage provided.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of Medical Assistant Diploma program

High school graduate or GED

Bilingual in Spanish and English

Preferred Qualifications:
Medical Assistant Certificate preferred, not required.
