Location: Secaucus, NJ

Compensation: $35-$40/hr

 

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated, customer focused, detail-oriented and experienced CMMS Planner to oversee the coordination and scheduling of maintenance activities while also managing the organization's assets effectively. The CMMS Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring that maintenance tasks are conducted efficiently, assets are properly maintained, and operational downtime is minimized. The CMMS Planner will also be responsible for the spare part inventory and stock levels are maintained through the CMMS.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be the site level SME (subject Matter expert) on the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software, train the local engineering teams in its use and escalate issues as required to management.
  • Ensure the system is run in line with PAC standards and participate in central coordinated projects and improvement programs to roll out new functionalities and procedures.
  • Manage spare part stock levels, place and track orders as required. Work with procurement and the wider teams to find savings or efficiencies.
  • Ensure site level equipment, spare parts and minimum holding levels are correctly recorded in the system in order to ensure technicians are never without the parts they need.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all equipment and assets.
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections/audits of assets to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Monitor asset performance and implement strategies to extend their operational life.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop maintenance plans that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Utilize maintenance management systems to track maintenance activities, asset history, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in maintenance and asset management.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and increase asset reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to maintenance and asset management.
  • Ability to Travel up to 25%

Basic Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in maintenance planning, asset management and auditing maintenance activities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in maintenance and asset management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Experience managing stores or spare parts inventories

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • Experience rolling out a new CMMS system.
  • Experience delivering training or coaching.
  • Experience managing multiple sites.
  • Experience with setting up Engineering stores.
  • Certification in maintenance planning or asset management.

The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, education, and qualifications.
