Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Designer/Product Design professional to join our automotive engineering team. In this role, you will apply engineering concepts and CAD expertise to execute product development activities for new automotive programs. You will work with cutting-edge design tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative automotive products from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute product design and virtual design activities using Siemens NX software
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and 2D product detailing in accordance with automotive standards
- Support design work across multiple vehicle systems including Advanced Design & Accessories, Body Uppers, Front & Rear Closures, Bumper Fascia & Grille execution, Exterior Trim, and Instrument Panel/Front Console
- Utilize Team Center for product lifecycle management (preferred)
- Apply knowledge of production processes for plastic and metal parts
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Follow internal client practices, methods, and standards
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to design work
Qualifications
- Complete technical education in Mechanics, Metrology, Mechatronics, Quality, or related fields (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Control and Automation (preferred)
- Mandatory proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D product detailing using Siemens NX software
- Knowledge of Team Center product lifecycle management system is desirable
- Understanding of production processes for plastic and metal components
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Logical and analytical reasoning abilities
- Proven ability to work effectively in team environments
- Ability to work 100% on-site in ABC Paulista region, Greater São Paulo area
