You will play a pivotal role in maintaining these values and contributing to the company’s mission of redefining healthcare delivery through superior pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Review incoming prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, duplication, drug interactions, and adherence to treatment guidelines.
- Initiate and document PV1 interventions to resolve identified therapy issues with prescribers.
- Support clinical programs including medication adherence, chronic disease management, and therapeutic interchange.
- Collaborate with other pharmacists and technicians in a team-based model to ensure seamless pharmacy operations.
- Utilize clinical decision support tools, pharmacy dispensing systems, and electronic health records (EHR) to inform interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all interventions and outcomes for audit and quality purposes.
- Participate in the development of standard intervention protocols and best practices.
- Stay current on clinical guidelines, FDA updates, and formulary changes relevant to the pharmacy’s drug portfolio.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in Florida
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical or mail-order pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy across chronic and acute conditions.
- Proficient in clinical documentation and prescriber communication.
- Familiarity with PV1 intervention workflows and medication therapy management (MTM) practices.
- Experience with pharmacy systems such as DispensePro, PioneerRx, QS/1.
- Previous work in a high-volume or telemedicine-aligned pharmacy.
Job Type: Full-time, 44 hours per week
Due to the company’s rapid growth, we may implement a flexible scheduling policy to accommodate evolving business needs.
This is a 100% on-site position — remote work or smart working is not available.
Pay Range
$125,000 - $125,000 USD
